Considering a stone walkway for your home? We have set the standard for decades. Our innovative designs will enhance the beauty and value of your home. We will upgrade your current pathway or create a new one, with your choice of stones. Whether travertine, flagstone, quartzite or pavers, we will add a layer of luxury to your yard or garden.
For many projects, installation can take as little as one day. You won't find any construction rule that states you must use stone. Nothing is 'set in stone' sort of speak. Concrete pavers are very nice and create a 'WOW' factor. Since we are one of the leading suppliers and installers in Arizona, you have quite a few options, and there are many stones available:
Flagstone is king. Its popularity continues to grow, mostly because of its beauty. Flagstone pieces are typically one to four inches thick and come in a variety of colors and shapes. Our clients love them because each one is unique and we cut them individually to fit your space. Also, they require no maintenance and have a natural grittiness to them.
Quartzite is a harder stone than Flagstone or Travertine, tends to be a little more expensive and lends itself to almost any design. Quartzite can be free form or geometric and comes in a variety of colors.
Travertine is also another quality, durable, higher-end stone that people love to add to their pools and patios. Travertine comes in a straight edge, a tumbled edge and a chiseled edge. The straight edge is self-explanatory. Tumbled edge softens the edges of the stone, making them appear worn and have the appearance of antique. Chiseled edges are chipped by various methods making the appearance of distressed. We have travertine available in a variety of colors and can cut to fit any shape or design.
Beautiful and durable - another good choice for a stone walkway. Pavers are rich in color and come in a limitless palette of custom colors. Textures are varied from cobble and old world to tumbled and reclaimed brick. Cobbled pavers bring all the best of European design to your yard. Old World pavers look distressed and worn for that antique look.
Concrete by itself isn't perceived as the most exciting material to use, but we're changing that. We pour your pathway using traditional concrete and then, while it's still wet, add an artistic design element. This can be anything from adding a design to exposed aggregate. We sometimes even add small Mexican pebbles, mosaic tiles or rock, which turns concrete into more of a piece of art than just a pathway.
There's no mystery to figuring out the perfect hues for your new walkway. The best advice when choosing a stone for your walkway is to select hues which work in harmony with your home environment. Stones a few shades lighter than the color of your house won't compete for attention. Gray-toned stones used with brick houses eliminate the urge many of us have to try to match everything. Brick-colored stones and pavers add warmth to wood or stone houses. You can avoid monotony by combining two colors or by using blended colored stones such as flagstone or pavers.
We have experience helping hundreds of clients fulfill their dreams of having a custom pathway in their gardens or yards. With over forty years of experience, we have developed a reputation for quality installation with friendly, no-pressure sales people. Let our experienced design team take your initial ideas and bring them to the completed stage.
